Established in 1969, TrailerCraft/Freightliner of Alaska is a heavy-duty truck and trailer Dealer, statewide parts retailer to the commercial trucking and transportation industry, the only dealer in the state of Alaska for Freightliner and Western Star trucks, Thomas Built buses, Sprinter service and passenger vans, and FUSO trucks. It also markets substantially to the snow removal industry, selling specialized Western, and Snow Ex snow removal equipment to both residential customers and commercial fleets.

Position: Delivery Driver
Department: Parts – Anchorage 
Reports to: Parts Manager
Pay Class: $18 + DOE

Summary Description:
Assists Parts Department Manager in maintaining a smooth running, efficient parts department with a high degree of customer satisfaction. Delivers and picks up parts in a safe and timely manner. The ideal Automotive Parts Delivery Driver will have a passion for delivering customer care on an everyday basis. The Automotive Parts Delivery Driver must also have excellent driving aptitude for both manual and automatic vehicles.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Parts Department Operations:
• Pulls parts orders for delivery
• Loads orders into delivery vehicle
• Delivers to customers location in a safe and timely manner
• Pulls orders for shipments
• Helps with shipping and receiving when needed
• Keeps vehicle clean at all times
• Stamina to stand and walk for entire work shift
• Clear speaking and attentive listening skills

Customer Service:
• Provide superior customer service
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• Current Alaska driver’s license
• Forklift certification

Physical Demands:
• Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach and handle tools.
• Occasionally requires the ability to lift 120 pounds of material.
• Frequently required to walk to all areas of the facility, both indoors and out.

Working Conditions:
• Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
• Is potentially exposed to battery acids, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
• Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or airborne other particles.
• Frequently required to walk to all areas of the facility, both indoors and out.
